Bishop Brian L. Collins, Sr.
Pastor Collins was born, raised, cultivated, educated, saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He is married to the beautiful, spontaneous, creative and anointed Mother Angela D. Collins. This marriage is blessed with four beautiful and talented children: Angelita, Angel, Christine and Brian, Jr.. He is a devoted husband and a loving, caring and dedicated father to his children.

He is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Washington DC and has matriculated toward his Bachelor degree at Bible Way Training Center, Montgomery College and Maryland University. He has also graduated from Computer Learning Center , receiving a Computer Programming Diploma.

Pastor Collins is a man who has been blessed to wear many hats. He began his work for the Kingdom at the age of twelve, teaching his first Sunday School Class. His Intermediate Sunday School Teacher Zander Lee England, drafted him to be a student teacher and he has not stopped teaching since then. He is a noted teacher throughout the Bible Way Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ World-Wide, Inc. (BWCWW) organization and other organizations. He has actively held positions of leadership in Christian Education (Teacher, Local Assistant Superintendent, Local Superintendent, Diocese Assistant Superintendent, Diocese Superintendent, Regional Superintendent and Consultant) for more than 30 years. Pastor Collins served as the International Superintendent of Sunday School for Bible Way Church World-Wide, Inc.. He is the visionary for the establishment of ETA Bible Institutes within the Bible Way Organization, internationally. His work for the Kingdom is not limited to Christian Education, it reaches into the area of Church administration. He has been a church bookkeeper, Youth President, Clergy President, District Treasurer, and Diocese Financial Secretary. Additionally, he served as Assistant Pastor of Greater Friendship Bible Way Church for over four years.

Pastor Collins entered the ministry in 1977, ordained by Apostle Smallwood E. Williams in 1983, elevated to District Elder in 2000, appointed Overseer in 2002, and consecrated Bishop in July 2006.

Our Pastor is a writer too. An author and editor of articles, books, newsletters and audio tapes. He is the Editor-In-Chief of the New Life Times Newsletter and International Sunday School News (BWCWW). He has written articles for New Vision Newsletter and Bible Way News Voice. He is the author of several books, "How To Make A Lemonade Marriage Out Of A Sour Lemon Relationship (unfinished)," "New Life Ministers Manual," "God's Plan For A Healthy Marriage," "God's Plan For A Healthy Single," and others.

Finally, he is the Pastor and Founder of New Life Church Of The Apostolic Faith, Inc.. He takes joy in this position as a servant for the Kingdom. God has blessed him with a vision to create and environment of praise and worship, to give understanding to hearers of God's word and provide spiritual and social support to the membership. Out of this  vision local ministries have been developed: the Mighty Men Of Valor, Women Of Virtue, New Life Talented and Gifted (T.A.G. Team), Children's Church, Outreach & Evangelism (Public Housing Communities), Food and Clothes Distribution and others.

Pastor Collins' entire ministry thrust is dedicated to building lives, not bricks, mortar, money and wealth. He is concerned that people are delivered from the guilt, penalty, habit and dominion of sin. This is a primary focus and not a side show. It is your soul you take into eternity, not money and things. He believes we should "use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away (I Cor. 7:31)."

Leading Lady Angela D. Collins
Mother Collins was also born, raised, cultivated, educated, saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She is a devoted wife to the handsome, studious, anointed, man of integrity, Elder Brian L. Collins, Sr.. Mother Collins is a loving, caring and sacrificing mother to her children.

She is a graduate of Crossland High School and has matriculated towards her Bachelor degree in Business Administration. She is a graduate of Creative Nails Institute and is a Professional Nail Technician. In addition, she was hired by Creative Nails institute to be the School's Director. Many of the talented Nail Technician in the Washington Area are grateful for the instruction they received under her direction.

Mother Collins began her work for the Kingdom at the age of six, just big enough to hold a microphone and sing praises unto God with her family's group, The Souls Of Unity. They sang up and down the East Coast with some of the great Gospel Artist, Rance Allen, Mighty Clouds Of Joy, and Dixie Hummingbirds. She is a soloist on albums, records and cassettes. Mother Collins was the Choir Director of an award winning choir.

She is the Founder and Executive Director of "The Voices Of The City," a Performing Arts and Life Skills Development Non-Profit Organization, reaching urban and suburban at-risk youth. The Voices Of The City is recognized  throughout Washington DC in the Non-Profit arena for their many performances and contributions. The Voices won second place in the Kaiser Permanente Gospel Contest at the Kennedy Center in 1997. Through this organization she has touched, ministered to and changed many lives.

Mother Collins is a song writer and producer. She has produced Solo and Choir albums, CDs and cassettes.

Mother Collins is a blessed woman who also wears many hats of responsibility: First Lady and Co-Founder, Sunday School Teacher, Women's Ministry Chairlady, Choir Director, Consummate Praise & Worship Leader, Soloist Extraordinaire,  and First Vice President of The Bible Way Church World-Wide Clergy Wives Association.

We are grateful unto the Lord for placing Mother Collins as our First Lady.
